ghost APT
ghostAPT - 1.1 BETA
ghostAPT is a script running engine with repositories that can be run from the command line.

The vision of ghostAPT is to be able to configure a fresh linux system quickly and modularly, to taste, with very little effort yet still maintain transparency about the code behind each script which is displayed before each script is run. The unintended side affect from this is an open ecosystem with trust-management based scripts for nearly ANY idea that can be programmed with bash or other programming languages to make configuring linux effortless. The author of this program has a long history with Windows and saw many missed opportunities in each linux distro that was tried. The .ghost scripts are secured by their SHA-256 checksums so you know what you're running is genuine. Experience the quality of life features today with ghostAPT!

Installation:

1.) Download the .zip file above.

2.) Extract the files somewhere.

3.) If you're on KDE, you should only have to double click on "ghostAPT.sh", a popup should display just click on "Execute".

If you're not able to get that inital popup to display by double clicking on ghostAPT.sh, then you may have to open a terminal in the same folder as the extracted files and run:

bash ./ghostAPT.sh

(You may need to right-click "ghostAPT.sh", select properties, go to the permissions tab, check "is executable" checkbox so it has permission to run on your system.)

4.) You must have "konsole" installed, if you don't already --do-this-now. (If you have it installed already just follow the installer menu and install ghostAPT.)

5.) Enjoy the program as it was equally fun and helpful personally to develop it.
